Mavs Will Prevail

Damnit! Such a close (and stressful) game. I hate to be the guy crapping about bad officiating, but we got screwed on the fouls at the end. In both directions.

Okay, let's just see how Miami stands up when they come back to our house. The next two games belong to the Mavs.

In other news, this is my 100th entry on this blog. Since you're reading this, thanks for sending your web browser my way. I would say that you're the reason I'm writing this, but to be honest, I'm really just doing it for the money.

I literally felt like puking last night. I couldn't concentrate and I couldn't move well. I was absolutely turned.

I'm going to predict the gloom. We lost tomorrow night. They have our backs against the wall, and they smell blood. Our players have looked absolutely soft in the last three games. Nobody wants to fight for the win. Devin Harris was the only one that had the balls to drive to the hoop, but he is just a poor shooter.

When did you all get on the Mav's bandwagon? I have found that I am incapable of watching them play anymore. I yell at the TV so much and get so sick to my stomach it just kills me. It was easy when I lived in Dallas and they were up and coming. By the time the playoffs came around everything else was gravy. And during the regular season if they lost it was no big deal because the game would be on TV tomorrow. Now I only get to watch a few games a year, and get to see them live when they play sonics and it just kills me. I find that I have to watch it on ESPN gamecast to keep sane.

Bandwagon??! Since 94' for me. I just never had anything to talk about until the recent past.
And.. I don't have anything against bandwagon fans. Life-longers are formed from initial bandwagon fans. The energy in the city generated from a bball team in the NBA Finals is absolutely crazy and contagious. It's been one of the most exciting month and a half of sports I've witnessed in my entire life.
Next year, Mavs!

I have nothing against bandwagon fans. And I know the feeling when a whole city gets behind the team. The Seattle super bowl run this year was amazing.

I just didn't know that any of you guys were Mav's fans. When I lived in Dallas I felt I was the only one. I started watching the Mav's when the drafted Dirk and then when I moved there in 2000 I basically watched every game on TV. Since I've moved up here I don't get to see them that often, but I haven't gotten into the Sonics either.

Well, of course, I didn't live in Dallas at the same time as you, so it would be tough to see my excitement. :)
I'm not so sure you can count Scott as a Mavs fan yet though. He'd have to answer for himself. I will say though, I could never get him out of the house for a regular season game or even much of the Playoffs until the Finals.
I try to get to a couple of games a year at least. Can't afford to go to a lot though, because I refuse to sit in the upperdeck because the view on TV is 100 times better. And, with the Mavs getting good, the first section seats cost nearly $100 a pop behind the backboards!
I'm strongly considering getting season tickets with Brad next year though - if we can get lower level seats for around or under $2000.

Sonics tickets are cheap! Of course, that's because no one goes... and that's why they want to move.

I actually prefer seeing the Mariners though.

Blame me for the loss last night. I actually watched part of the game, so it was I who sentenced them to a Championship-less fate. At least, this is the scenario that my sister gave me.
